1. Does my 7 year old really need braces yet?
Not necessarily. The age seven evaluation is primarily about observation. While some children need interceptive Phase 1 treatment to guide jaw growth and prevent surgery, many children just need to be monitored every six months while their adult teeth come in. We will never recommend treatment unless there is a clear, structural benefit to acting early.
